We’ve just wrapped up an incredible 4-week collaboration project with the talented second-year Fashion Design students from Ravensbourne University London and we’re still buzzing with inspiration!
The Work-Based Learning program was designed to give students the opportunity to work directly with industry professionals and focus on building practical, real-world skills.
The students worked on projects closely with FormCode’s Creative Director Xsenia, receiving mentorship through briefings, tutorials, and final pitch presentations – followed by feedback from our team.
It was a real inspiration to work with students. Fashion Design students reimagined traditional uniforms – from chefs’ outfits to inclusive and school uniforms – with a fresh, modern thoughtful perspective

Rachel worked on reimagining the classic chef’s jacket.
The brief called to create a fresh, functional, and contemporary take on the traditional chef’s look and Rachel delivered brilliantly. Her innovative design not only brought a fresh aesthetic but also paid close attention to the practical needs of professional kitchen wear.
Jennifer chose to explore the modular and transformable school uniform concept.
Her collection stood out for its completeness and thoughtful design.
The concept was clearly developed, with an excellent sense of style and purpose.

FORMCODE studio launched a Circular Uniform Capsule Collection in collaboration with Yova Yager, eco-activist and socially responsible hospitality designer.
Together we created a unique capsule uniform collection for the hospitality sector. Collection is made from the remnants of fabrics and accessories from our studio archives. Waste and defective fabrics, scraps and cuts as well various accessories leftover from previous projects, samples from textile exhibitions are transformed into new stylish garments.
Yova Yager is the founder and chief designer of YOVA YAGER studio, specializing in creating unique and functional interiors for restaurants, cafes, bars, and hotels that reflect the history and individuality of each establishment. Yova is renowned for her originality and attention to detail, creating functional and sustainable spaces that foster human interaction.
The design and functionality of the uniform were carefully thought out, with a survey conducted among restaurant business specialists before the collection’s release to take into account all the nuances. Almost all models of the collection are unisex. The collection includes two drops: ‘Black & Truffle’ for modern elegant restaurants and ‘Daily Denim’ for more casual places. The collection is available to order and can be customized according to the client’s needs.
FORMCODE is thrilled to collaborate with stylist Lyla Cheng on the development of stylish uniforms for the entire team at Nai, the international chain of modern cuisine restaurants with a Ukrainian soul.
Lyla Cheng, a Taiwan-born fashion stylist based between London and Paris, brings her expertise to this project. A graduate of the London College of Fashion, Lyla’s impressive portfolio includes designing uniforms for renowned venues such as the Taichung Opera House, Mitsui Group, and the circular fashion platform Lablaco. She has also contributed to renowned publications like Vogue, Elle, and Numero, and worked with clients including Gucci, Mulberry, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., and La Mer.
With Lyla’s creative vision and expertise, we are excited to elevate the aesthetic and functionality of the uniforms at Nai, ensuring that each member of the team exudes professionalism and style.
FORMCODE presents the Circular Urban Collection in collaboration with Lucy Nekrasova, an American-based graphic designer.Lucy created vibrant optical prints for us, which have been transferred onto yoga jumpsuits, belt accessories, and silk scarves.
Lucy an American-based graphic designer with over 10 years of experience in design, styling and architecture, Lucy is known for her passion for sports. With her keen eye for detail, Lucy infuses each piece with creativity and energy.
CIRCULAR Urban Collection is inspired by architecture, street art, and urban landscapes, creating a unique and contemporary look for those who appreciate sustainability and the urban way of life.
This is a fundraising project in collaboration with interior designer and eco-activist Yova Yager. Together, we have created a limited edition T-shirt, with 100% of the profits from selling go toward the needs of Ukrainian defenders.
The phrase “ЛЮТА ЛЮТЬ” (LUTTA LUTE) symbolizes the severe and relentless spirit of Ukrainians, especially in response to the full-scale Russian invasion that began on February 24th, 2022. This term reflects the unity and powerful resistance of the Ukrainian people against their aggressor, an emotion akin to the harsh winters of Ukraine.
Our new collaboration with Margarita Shekel, a costume designer and stylist renowned for her work on large-scale music videos and concerts, has brought artistic flair to the new uniform concept for the jewellery stylist team of the “Ukrzoloto” store chain.
The main objective was to design exquisite and exclusive outfits for both women and men, combining comfort, functionality, style, and seasonal adaptability.
FormCode team has created elegant two-piece suits with vests and contrasting shirts or blouses, blending professionalism and style. The suits feature unconventional cuts, adding a modern twist. Padded vests were specially designed for the autumn-winter season, serving as both a practical and stylish outerwear option.
Margarita strongly believes that details make the look and proposed the key accessory – gloves, which became an integral element of the uniform. They are attached to the belt, making them convenient to use while also serving as a stylish accent.
Another exclusive element was the silk scarves with a custom print, complemented by a metal ring – a symbolic feature resonating with the aesthetic of jewellery pieces.

Margarita Shekel is a costume designer and stylist who specializes in large-scale projects, including those with A-list performers. Since 2017, she has collaborated with director Tanya Moino on music videos for top international artists. She was nominated for the MTV Video Music Awards for her work on the visual concepts for MUSE’s “Won’t Stand Up” music video.
